Lift for Life & 5K Road Race
D&D Fitness Factory, Ware, MA will once again host the Lift for Life & 5K Road Race on Sunday, April 28, 2013. All Proceeds go to the Walk of Champions to benefit Integrated Cancer Services at Baystate Mary Lane Hospital.
5K Road Race / Walk – road race event starting at Fitness Factory through scenic Ware.
Entry fee day of event is $20. Pre-entry fee is $15 by mail or in person no later than April 8th. Registration at 8:00 am, race starts at 9:00 am.
3 Age Groups:
- Student – 19 and under
- 20 to 35
- 36 and up
Fitness Challenge entry fee is $25 day of event. Pre-entry fee is $20 by mail or in person no later than April 8th. Registration and weigh-in at 9:15 am – events start at 10:30 am. There will be 5 Men’s weight classes and 1 Women’s weight class.
There will be 3 events:
- Bench Press for Max Weight
- Axle Bar Dead Lift for Reps
- Truck Pull
Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in each category.
Enter early as T-shirts will be awarded to the first 50 entries!
Even if you’re not interested in participating in the weight challenges or 5K – come on down and cheer on your favorites. Hot dogs and Hamburgers will be available for purchase.
Most of all it’s for a great cause – and it’s so much fun!
