NOTICE

This is to inform you that we were just notified that a member who was in the gym last Thursday morning, November 5, 2020, tested positive for COVID-19 and is quarantined.  Upon entering the gym, the person had a normal temperature and no symptoms.  The entire gym is deep cleaned every night, (over and above current CDC guidelines), along with extra cleanings throughout the day.  After a conversation with the Board of Health we were assured that all appropriate protocols have been taken, and the gym is all clear to remain open. It is important to remember to continue practicing good hygiene with frequent and thorough handwashing, to wear your mask, and keep social distancing in mind at all times. The virus is still out there and it continues to be important for us to remain diligent in our attention to the COVID 19 guidelines that are in place to keep us all safe. Our greatest concern is the health and wellbeing of you, your families and our staff.

Stay safe,

D&D Fitness Factory

D&D FITNESS FACTORY RE-OPENING MONDAY JULY 6TH!

D&D FITNESS FACTORY RE-OPENING MONDAY JULY 6TH!

Yes! We are re-opening Monday July 6th! Oh, how we have missed you!

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT to adhere to Governor Baker’s mandates. His guidance is put in place to keep employees and members safe.

GOVERNOR BAKER’S (State of Massachusetts) Mandates:

  • FACE COVERINGS are required.
  • MUST practice social distancing.
  • DO NOT COME TO THE FITNESS FACTORY if you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with this virus, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • You MUST swipe your membership card upon entering AND upon exiting the fitness center
  • Your TEMPERATURE will be checked upon entering.
  • ALL aerobic classes are cancelled until further notice
  • NO SHOWERS or SAUNA until further notice
  • NO GUEST PASSES or 1 MONTH MEMBERSHIPS until further notice.
  • ABSOLUTELY NO SUPER SETTING or CIRCUIT TRAINING allowed (will need to stay on one machine at a time!)

Your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one concern.

WE NEED TO REITERATE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Please do not come to the fitness factory if you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with this virus, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • If you have traveled abroad, or to a high-risk area designated by the CDC, please do not come to the fitness factory until tested and the appropriate steps and quarantine has been completed.
  • Please wipe down all equipment (machines, weights, dumbbells, mats, balls etc.) with the provided spray bottles after you are finished. You may also want to wipe down before you begin.
  • If you cough or sneeze, please use a tissue or your upper sleeve to prevent spreading germs.
  • Since the virus spreads in crowds, please leave the facility once your workout is complete.
  • Please be diligent in washing your hands because prevention is critical.

PLEASE LET’S BE DILIGENT IN FOLLOWING ALL THE PROTOCOLS PUT IN PLACE.  YOU WILL NOTICE REGULATIONS POSTED THROUGHOUT THE FITNESS CENTER.

D&D FITNESS FACTORY RE-OPENING MONDAY JULY 6TH!

D&D FITNESS FACTORY RE-OPENING MONDAY JULY 6TH!

So many of our members have been asking ‘when are you going to re-open’? According to Governor Baker’s latest plan – we will be re-opening Monday July 6th – and we are so excited! We want to hear how you have been – and we want to help you with your fitness goals.

Remember exercise helps in so many ways:

  • Strengthens bones and muscles
  • Weight management
  • Depression and Anxiety
  • Body image / happiness
  • Boost immunity
  • Increase energy levels
  • Strengthens the brain
  • Sleep

Exercise is crucial for so many and we have heard you! We are here to help you! You’ve explained how important this fitness center is to so many for a varied amount of reasons. We are proud of you and your dedication.

As we mentioned in a previous post we have been disinfecting and following all guidelines. We will also follow any additional restrictions Governor Baker imposes in order to open. Your safety and the safety of our staff is our number one concern. We will be taking everyone’s temperature as they enter the gym.

We assure you additional cleaning and disinfecting measures have been implemented.  Effective immediately the following actions have been taken:

  • Disinfectant has been added to the cleaning solution in all spray bottles
  • Additional hand sanitizing stations have been added throughout the facility
  • The sauna will remain closed until further notice
  • Water fountains will remain closed until further notice

How can everyone help?

  • Please do not come to the fitness factory if you are experiencing any of the symptoms associated with this virus, including fever, cough, or shortness of breath.
  • If you have traveled abroad, or to a high-risk area designated by the CDC, please do not come to the fitness factory until tested and the appropriate steps and quarantine has been completed.

  • If you cough or sneeze, please use a tissue or your upper sleeve to prevent spreading germs.
  • Since the virus spreads in crowds, please leave the facility once your workout is complete.
  • Please be diligent in washing your hands because prevention is critical.

Will keep you posted if Governor Baker changes the opening date of fitness centers in Massachusetts. And we’re hoping we see you soon!

If you have an EFT plan – note Fitness Factory fees will be implemented as of July 1, 2020. If you want your plan to be prorated by 4 days, please see management to let them know and a check will be sent to you. Any PIF plans will be extended for number of months we were closed. Thanks.

GOVERNOR BAKER BANS GATHERINGS OF OVER 25 PEOPLE – THIS INCLUDES FITNESS CENTERS

GOVERNOR BAKER BANS GATHERINGS OF OVER 25 PEOPLE – THIS INCLUDES FITNESS CENTERS

Due to Governor Baker’s press release, March 15, 2020, D&D will follow his orders on implementing a limit to how many people can be in the fitness center at the same time. D&D will only be able to allow 25 people, including staff at a time.

During an average day 25 people should not be a problem for us! But there are times when the gym is busy, and we need you to know these important facts.

IMPORTANT FACTS:

  • We will keep a head count
  • We will implement a 45-minute time limit to be fair to all members. This limit will only be enforced during the busy times to ensure everyone gets to workout.
  • All aerobic classes will be put on hold until Governor Baker lifts this ban

Please know, all our members and employees, health is very important to us, and we are trying to do our best to protect you while staying open as we know working out is very important to you!
